Monica FERRIN, Dr.

Mónica finished her B.A. in Political Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2003. Since then, she has always been involved in social and political research, and in the study of citizens’ attitudes and behavior. In 2012, she got her PhD in Social and Political Sciences at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, where she worked mainly on citizens’ perceptions and evaluations of their democratic systems in Europe. Currently she is researcher at the University of Zürich. She is mainly interested in public opinion, political behavior, democracy and citizenship. She has been involved in bEUcitizen since September 2013.
