Andrea C. Bianculli is Research Fellow at IBEI since October 2013. She graduated in Sociology at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO-Argentina). She obtained her PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2010. Before joining IBEI, Andrea held a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Research College "The Transformative Power of Europe", Freie Universität Berlin, and research positions at IBEI and FLACSO-Argentina. Her research expertise is in the area of international political economy, global and regional governance, trade and regulatory governance, with a special focus on Latin America, though she has also worked on comparative political economy. Academic activities also involved teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, in the area of political economy of development, regional integration, methods and political theory, at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, apart from her current teaching at IBEI.
